"Year Opened: 2006
GOLF PARK PUNTIRУ is an 18-hole course with a par of 71 running over an estate of 66 hectares. The course has a medium level of difficulty, though the level can be high if starting from the rear tees. It has a total length of 6,139 metres from the white tees, and combines both holes requiring great accuracy and holes for big hitters.
The round was designed on the basis of the natural layout of the terrain. The indigenous vegetation made up of pines, wild olives, carob and mastic trees has been carefully preserved and well maintained in order for players to enjoy the natural environment of the island. This, together with the complete absence of buildings, means players can concentrate fully on their game. All of the holes are connected by an integrated network of car paths.
GOLF PARK holds the exclusive distribution rights in Spain and Portugal for the JACK NICKLAUS teaching method for golf, and this has positioned it as the BEST GOLF ACADEMY in Spain.
It also has the most comprehensive and comfortable training area. The practice course has greens and bunkers to enable people to practise in realistic playing conditions. It is 267 metres long so even the best hitters have ample room to practice their drive. There are 42 practice tees, 14 covered and 28 open-air.
The Clubhouse is situated in a part of the estate which has fantastic views of the green of the 18th, 200m from the practice course. The facilities are first class, with a fantastic pro shop, restaurant, terrace, clubroom, cart hire, etc."
