With 18 holes and at over 6.410 metres in length, the biggest attraction of this course is its varied layout, with degrees of difficulty that make it ideal for players of all level, and it can even be used for professionals to championships. At the higher part of the course, next to the tee of the first hole, a modern Clubhouse with mangnificent views offers its welcomingfacilities. The practice course, including greens, bunkers and chipping green, complete a playing area with some difficult stretches, but which is feasible for all players, with holes protected by the singular route between the lakes and small woods, with no blind shots; a course, in short, with a personality of its own, and whose layout is a pleasant challenge for all true enthusiasts.
An 18-hole course with a character and identity all its own, where the surface water and natural dips in the terrain have been turned into lakes and streams.
Not without its difficulties but nonetheless enjoyable and suitable for players of all levels. No blind shots. The holes are protected by the lakes, streams and trees.
Basically, a thoroughly enjoyable course in a city full of attractions. The result of the work of Manuel Piñero and his team is a course which is sufficiently long, measuring more than 6,410 metres in total.
Variety, challenge and movement are the main attractions which go to make the course at Golf El Puerto enjoyable for players of all levels, and is even suitable for professional championships.
The Clubhouse and the Hotel are on the highest point of the course next to the tees of the 1st and 10th and the greens of the 9th and 18th. The facilities include a modern practice course, with greens and bunkers, and a chipping green."
