"Torvean is the only municipal course in the Highlands. Its parkland layout has been enjoyed by many a visiting golfer and was extended in 1988 to eighteen holes and includes one of the longest par fives in the north at 565 yards. A warm welcome awaits all who wish to pay a visit, as staff are always delighted to welcome visitors to the area. Golf in the Highlands has always attracted a great deal of interest from golfers from all over the world as it provides the opportunity to play the game as it was meant to be played, in the most natural Scottish surroundings."
