"Set on the shores of the River Forth to the north of the capital, this 6, 070-yard par 70 course has some spectacular views over the estuary to the Kingdom of Fife, with Ben Lomond visible on a clear day. The course plays to every one of its 6, 070-yards, especially the 601-yard par five 18th, a hole which requires a straight drive and at least another long wood to get within striking distance of the green. The fairways are long, expansive and lined with some nasty rough to trap a wayward ball, but the beautiful nature of the course makes playing this a wonderful golfing experience for all abilities."
