"Ashbourne Golf Club is located on the outskirts of Ashbourne village, a market town in County Meath.

Designed by Ryder Cup star Des Smyth, this 18 hole parkland golf course measures 5872 metres from the championship tees and comprises a par of 71 (72 for ladies). Not unduly long by championship standards, nevertheless Ashbourne, by virtue of its design, is truly a test for every category of golfer. Three man-made lakes complement the Broadmeadow River in a manner that sees water impact on 9 out of the 18 holes.
Combine this element of the design with a multitude of trees and it is easy to see where the challenge emanates from. A full bar and catering service is available in the friendly atmosphere of the clubhouse. Lessons are available from Club Pro, John Dwyer at the club practice ground."
