"Cairndhu was founded in 1928 as Larne Town and moved to Cairndhu in 1958. It is of Ireland's most scenic courses and is known to be a particular favourite of Northern Irishman Darren Clarke. From the third tee, which is 200ft above sea level, beware of the hazardous valley on the right and rocks in front-and your drive has to carry 175 yards to the fairway. This may be the most difficult hole but it is also the most stunning."
