"SOCIETY & CORPORATE GOLF DAYS
Horsforth Golf Club is an ideal venue for Society and Corporate golf days. Only 5 minutes drive from Leeds and Bradford airport, the Par 71 Course is set in open countryside, with the 14th fairway running parallel to the airport runway, and is a challenge for golfers of all abilities.
We are pleased to welcome parties on any weekdays throughout the year and our professional expertise and high standards of hospitality will help create a day that your members will enjoy and remember.
Due to our busy schedule we have a minimum requirement of 12 players per party and we prefer to reserve the tee for members before 9.30 am and between 12.00 noon and 1.00 p.m. Although only the 18th green is adjacent to the Clubhouse you may find that 12 holes in the morning and 18 holes in the afternoon, after a light lunch in the Clubhouse, makes an ideal day, as the 12th green is a short walk away. We are aware that requirements may vary and we would be more than happy to assist you in making your arrangements.
Play is usually from the yellow markers, playing in threes ensures that play is continuous and a round will take approximately 3? hours. Unless a betterball or team format is used, fourball matches tend to be slow and this spoils the enjoyment of the party.
We expect players to be members of a recognised Golf Club and hold a current playing handicap.
CATERING & BAR
Our catering and bar services are second to none. Bar service is available from 11.30 a.m., to 11.00 p.m.
We have a catering service that will cater for your every need, early morning coffees, breakfast, light or full lunches and both buffet and formal evening meals. Menus indicating the choice available can be viewed by clicking the link at the bottom of this page but any special requirements can be discussed with our caterers on 0113 258 1703 at any time.
Final numbers are required 48 hours before the event and these numbers will be charged for.
SMOKING POLICY
Horsforth Golf Club has a no smoking policy for the Dining Room and the Lounge Bar. Smoking is permitted in most of the other areas of the Clubhouse.
DRESS
All guests must comply with the Dress Rules of the Club:
If shorts are worn, knee high socks or predominately white sports socks must be worn.
Smart casual dress must be worn in the Clubhouse, with jackets and ties being required in the Dining Room after 7.00pm
SECURITY
The Club cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to property, clothing or vehicles belonging to members or guests attending the function.
MOBILE TELEPHONES
Please ensure all your party are aware that mobile telephones must not be used in the Clubhouse or on the course at any time."
