"Habberley golf club is an ideal place to play round the year golf. It occupies some 47 acres on the sandstone outcrop two miles to the north west of Kidderminster. The land is so well drained that it is rarely closed by adverse weather conditions.
The club, which opened in 1924, is a Private Members Club owned by all the Members and is administered by a General Committee, elected annually by the Playing Members. The land is held in Trust for the benefit of its members.
The club has a variety of competitions played throughout both the summer and the winter. Matches against other golf clubs are an important feature of summer golf allowing members to play other courses on a reciprocal basis. The club has a large number of trophies, many donated by members over the years, which helps to make the summer and winter competitions more enjoyable. Winter also sees the advent of the very popular Winter League, made all the more attractive by the fact that we are normally able to play on the normal greens for the most of the winter."
