"The wave of new technology that has arrived on the golf scene in the last few years has really significantly altered the way the game has been played and enjoyed, as well as the way courses have been maintained. New computer irrigation has been employed to allow for better course quality and to keep them open throughout the year. An example of this high-tech system can be found at Ferndown Forest Golf Club, where the course is available for virtually uninterrupted year-round playability thanks to its modern irrigation devices.

With some testing greens, tricky hazards and undulating fairways it really is a sound test of golf no matter how good a player you may be.

Welcome to the website of Ferndown Forest Golf Club. Here at our club we want to make your visit a fun and enjoyable experience. We have a wide range of facilities on site including a superb 18-hole golf course set in magnificent Dorset woodland.

The golf facilities include a 20-bay covered & floodlit driving range, putting green, practice bunker and superb team of golf professionals, headed by Mike Dodd. Also on the site there is a fully licensed bar, golf shop stocking a range of clubs and a new conference centre.

The course is open to both members and pay & play golfers, and we also cater extensively for golf societies.
