"The Bulberry Woods golf club in Dorset is a fine example of a perfectly manicured and meticulously maintained part-wooded parkland course. The subtle blend of American-style greens and fairways wind through ancient woods, creating an extremely picturesque setting for a round of golf. And measuring 6065 from the tee of the first to the pin of the eighteenth, it is not particularly strenuous on the legs.

Bulbury Woods Golf Club near Poole in Dorset offers a challenging 18 hole course with spectacular views towards Poole Harbour and the Isle of Purbeck. Although only built in 1989 the course has plenty of character and precision is definitely more important than power as you wind through ancient woodlands and gentle undulations. A warm welcome and efficient service awaits in the exceptional quality Clubhouse, which offers impressive bar and restaurant facilities, and great views over the 18th. The course is a popular venue for society days and there's an additional meeting room on the first floor which is ideal for conferences and seminars.

Whilst it is easy to get caught up admiring the wonderful views across Poole Harbour and Purbeck Hills, doing so could cost you dearly as this is a very challenging course that both beginners and advanced golfers will find to be a true test of their ability."
