"Our 18 hole course is an amalgamation of old and new as it incorporates the land that originally formed the Iford Bridge Golf Course along with the new land that was developed in 2000 under the guidance of David Pottage. The full course now measures just over 6300 yards and provides the golfer with a range of challenges, particularly involving water, as lakes and ditches come into play on 8 of the holes.
The feature hole is undoubtedly the 9th. At 172 yards off the medal tees, this par 3 is often played into the prevailing wind. If that wasn't enough, the line to the green is across the corner of one of the lakes and any shot too far left or short is likely to end up threatening ducks rather than birdies.
Overall the course will provide most golfers with a good examination of their game and opportunities to try out all the clubs in their bag."
