"Scenic Golf - Colne Golf Club’s picturesque course lies between Pendle Hill and the Yorkshire Moors, right on the Lancashire-Yorkshire border.

A warm welcome awaits all visitors at this friendly club, which has magnificent views over the Lancashire countryside. Colne Golf Club celebrates its centenary in 2001, an achievement of which its members are justly proud.

Don’t be put off by the fact it is a nine-hole course. It is a true challenge for golfers of all abilities – and not too taxing on the legs of the not so young.

The course is a flat moorland one, very scenic and with plenty of trees. It measures 6,053 yards with an SSS of 69, and boasts full practice facilities. There are several long par fours and some very challenging par threes. The short seventh in particular can be a card-wrecker, with a road to the left and steep gulley to the right. The 18th is a pleasant finishing hole, with a good drive leaving only a short iron in to an elevated green – but beware out of bounds only a few feet right of the green."
