"The signature hole of the course is the 512 yard sixth - daunting to all golfers - with three ponds and an island green. A large man-made lake is used to full effect at the end of the course.

In the short time the club has been open, ladies, seniors and junior sections have been formed with weekly competitions.

The club has established an annual charity competition, played in September.

We are also currently developing an oustanding junior Infrastructure laid out by Martin Turner and Alan Lunt (Junior Organiser) And in conjunction with Tony Howarth Golf Schools

The Charnock Richard venture was started by business partners John Ross and Martin Turner on the site of the old farm buildings belonging to John's farm. Work began in 1991 and the final phase the building of the clubhouse was undertaken in 1996.

The clubs also operates an exclusive Italian restaurant ' Figaro's ' within the clubs facilities creating a delightful almost cosmopolitan atmosphere."
