"Measuring 6258 yards from the tee on the first hole to the pin on the eighteenth, the par of 71 at Astbury golf club's fine parkland course is a sure indication of the challenges that lie in wait for all those who go to play there. Be wary of the water hazards that come into play on several of the holes as they can do serious damage to your scorecard. Also, the twelfth requires particular attention as it requires a long carry over a ravine.

If you play here, you will discover that the course is extremely well-maintained, especially the greens which play fast and true, and are very well-protected by a host of bunkers."
