"Located in Flixton, in Lancashire, Acre gate Golf Club is surrounded by well-known courses and big name venues. While most travelling golfers will seek out the better-known courses, Acre Gate is likely to get left behind - but that shouldn't always be the case.

Acre Gate, founded in 1974, may be unknown, but it is a hugely enjoyable 18-hole parkland course. It may be short - it stretches to 4,395-yards - but that doesn't mean you can't have some fun on the fairways. There are more than a few memorable holes to light up your round.
