"Burnham on Crouch Golf Club celebrated its 80th anniversary in June 2003. We are a privately owned non-profit making organisation with over 500 members. The club is run by a board (committee) who are directly accountable to the membership.

The day to day management of the Club is provided by full time professional staff under the direction of the Club Secretary, working in co-operation with various heads of department and appointed sub committees.

This management structure has served the club well for over 80 years and ensures that it is run for the benefit of the members.
Burnham-on-Crouch Golf Club, set deep in the heart of the beautiful Essex countryside, just minutes' drive from the town of Burnham, is home to an exceptional course that will challenge you whether you are a high or a low handicapper. Spanning just over 6000 yards, it is a good length for a round, leaving you neither worn out nor feeling a bit short-changed.

There are a hole host of challenges and a good blend of natural and man-made tests for you to tackle. Indeed, the bunkers have been cleverly placed to guard the greens, whilst the undulating fairways command accuracy, not always as easy a task as it sounds, especially when the strong prevailing winds blow."
