"Founded in 1923, and located only two miles from the city centre, Derby golf course will challenge all levels of golfer. Its eighteen holes, measuring 6163 yards over gently undulating, but stunningly scenic, parkland are rewarding if you apply yourself properly and consider your shots and club choice carefully. Making use of the practice green before teeing off is possibly a good idea to familiarise yourself with the play, speed and firmness of the ground.
Visitors and societies are welcome by prior arrangement all through the year, and the excellent clubhouse facilities provide a friendly, comfortable place to relax before or after your round, with bar snacks and meals served all week long."
