"The Executive Club is an association for improving trade and economic interests. It was founded in 1986 by Mr. Carlos Van Hove. Amongst the numerous co-founders were for example Sabena, at that time represented by her chairman Carlos Van Rafelghem. The club now has approximately 300 members who represent one or more significant enterprises. Amongst the club's honored members are several ambassadors and foreign ministers.

The Executive Club Private Golf is only a part of the club, which is being ran seperately. The club has a course of nine holes (par 27) which are all located in the vicinity of the castle of Zwijnaarde. On the same premises there is also a clubhouse with a restaurant and other facilities.

The club also has a driving range, a putting range, a practice bunker, and a chipping and pitching green.
