"This course is the only one of its kind, set in the original austere confines of a former military base where it is a surprise to note the typically Brittish design imparted by its founders. Against a backdrop of fields crossed by roads and dotted here and there with clumps of trees, the golfer experiences the simple and natural side of golf in a joyous and friendly atmosphere, yet where rules and etiquette are scrupulously respected.

Opgericht in 1965 door Britse militairen onder de naam Olen Military Golf Club.
Oorspronkelijk 9 holes, vanaf 1998 uitgebreid tot 13 holes, waarvan er 5 tweemaal gespeeld worden om zo te komen tot een volwaardige 18-holes baan, par 70 van 5202 meter.
Driving range, putting- en chippinggreen en oefenbunkers.
Clubhuis, secretariaat en pro-shop.
Recente naamswijziging in juli 2002 van Olen Golf Club naar Golf Club Witbos.
